Quinoa breakfast

1/3 cup of quinoa (rinsed well)

1/3 cup raw (uncooked whole) gluten free Oatmeal 1/8 Tsp of Coriander 1/8 Tsp of Cardamon

1/8 Tsp of Cumin

1 Tsp Ghee or Coconut oil ( or mustard oil or safflower oil)


Put Ghee in a pan, add all the spices till absorbed. Add the quinoa and the Oats.

Add 1 cup of water and cook over low heat until all water is absorbed, about 20-30 mins.


Sprinkle Hempseeds and 1/8 Tsp of Cinnamon powder and a pinch of nutmeg on top.


Cumin: Used for digestion, gas, abdominal pain, bloating, sluggish digestion, and colitis Coriander: used for indigestion, sore throat, allergies, urinary tract infection, burning urethra, and hay fever. Caradamon: Uses: One of the best and safest digestive stimulant. It awakens the spleen, helps with poor absorbtion, indigestion and colds. Fennel: great herb for digestion, strengthening agni, abdominal pain, gas and burning urination.
