Shirodhara
Shirodhara comes from the two Sanskrit words “shiro” (head) and “dhara” (flow). It's an Ayurvedic healing technique that involves having someone pour liquid — usually oil, milk, buttermilk, or water — onto your forehead. It's often combined with a body, scalp, or head massage.
Garshana
Garshana, (pronounced gar-shun-uh), is an ancient Sanskrit word which translates to 'friction by rubbing. ' Commonly known as dry brushing, this Ayurvedic practice involves a stimulating lymphatic massage to detoxify the lymphatic system, refresh your skin and revive the mind.
Svedana
Svedana or Swedana, means to "perspire". It is used in Ayurvedic treatment. It is also called as steam therapy. There are different types of swedana. Sitting in sun is also called as swedana. Swedana is a pre procedure for Panchakarma.
